2. It represents Status:- India is a democratic country now, every citizen is equal in terms of caste, color and creed but before independence, there was an autocratic rule. People are used to wear jewellery according to their financial and caste status.
In some parts of Rajasthan, a women can wear gold jewellery especially anklet only with the permission of king. There are various rules for wearing jewellery in a particular state or kingdom. Some jewellery specially made for the use of a particular clan and it has to be bequeathed to next generation by previous generation.
3. It represents Happiness:- There used to be a tradition in India whenever a child born in a royal family, the king or the queen used to give his precious jewellery to the midwife and to the slave who gives this lovely message to the ruler.
Apart from that a mother in law gives some traditional jewellery to his daughter in law. In India there is a culture of giving Jewellery as a gift.
4. It's good for health:- In India, people like to wear different types of gemstones in the form of Jewellery, the reason being that it is directly related to their health. However, many people reported that their health got improve after wearing gemstone but this technique is still considered as occult science as it is not yet proved that what is the relationship between health and jewellery
5. It Controls destiny:- In India, people believe a lot in astrology. You will be surprised, its an astrologer in India who play a very vital role in life's most important decision such as whether to marry or not and whom to marry and whom to not.
